The newest challenge / obsession that I am so immersing myself in is making and perfecting puff pastry.
Yes, that flaky and crisp base for appetizers, tarts and other sweet goodies is my current love.
I have already warned my husband to expect lots and lots of egg tarts failures because I am still in the
process of mastering the art. So for this month and onward, Its gonna be puff pastry and egg tarts until
I achieve bakery grade goodies.Puff Pastry is made of dough which puffs into many layers upon baking.
The series of folding and rolling involved in making it is responsible for that crisp, buttery layers.
