Philippines

My heart goes out to the victims of the killer earthquake that hit parts of  Visayas  ,Philippines.
May we all wake up again to a new ray of hope and  a beginning of a new chapter with faith, strength amidst the pain.

I didn’t realize there was an earthquake in the Visayas region until I got back from Nueva Ecija yesterday. Our province was also devastated with the strong typhoon that made a landfall on the plains, uprooting large, old trees and electrical posts. One month without electricity is really difficult….but the victims of the earthquake lost so much more. Their homes are in rubbles and they’er camping out in parks and other open areas. I hope help would arrive soon.

We always rise up, we people…no matter what calamities strike us.

It is so disheartening. My heart breaks watching the news. I hope immediate help will come to your province as well .
