Equipment

  • 16 oz mason jars or 2 cup capacity jars with lid

Ingredients

  • cup oats quick cook or rolled
  • ½ cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • ½ cup sliced strawberries frozen or fresh
  • cup plain greek yogurt at least 2% fat, you c an also use vanilla flavored
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp honey graham crumbs
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or more if you want sweeter

Instructions

  • To soften the cream cheese, either take it out well ahead of time or warm it up in the microwave for 5-7 seconds at a time at medium power until soft. Do not overheat because it can scorch in the microwave.
  • Mix softened cream cheese and greek yogurt in a small bowl until combined.
  • Add your ingredients to your jar. First add the oats, then the milk. Add half of the strawberries. Next, add the yogurt/cream cheese mix.
  • Sprinkle the ground flax seeds and graham crumbs, Then, tip with the remaining strawberries. Drizzle the maple syrup.
  • Cover the jar and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, grab and enjoy!

Notes

  • To meal prep for several days of breakfast, simply double or triple the ingredients and divide among  your jars.
  • You can also swap out the fruit. Try blueberries or raspberries.
  • You can use flavored Greek yogurt, then reduce the maple syrup as flavored yogurt already have added sugars.
  • I do not recommend non-fat yogurt because we are going after a rich, cheesecake flavor.
