Life, Lately.

Hello everyone! I am checking in for a random update of what’s going on around here lately. Well, yes.. you do know that I bake a lot, but aside from baking, here is a glimpse of the more important things that my little family does lately. Like, our life, lately. The title says so .. and I am grinning.
Okay first picture. I know.. It is still in the kitchen. But I guess you have to know that I  try my hand at cooking too. And when some cooking  fail, I go back to baking to redeem myself. I am thinking that sometimes I need to stick with baking!

On Saturday mornings, we bundle up for the cold outdoors and stay for an hour or two at Mcdonald’s to have breakfast and to let our little girl  loose in the play place.
And it is always a bonus when there is sunshine coming through.

And even greater bonus when there are sweet kisses and little smiles. I am all for that sniffling kind of kiss- when you could smell the baby -her mouth and her breath.

Okay, next picture. This one we do a lot lately. Because our daughter is doing a lot of growing up everyday, We, parents do a lot of stalking too! Here, my husband A was hidden behind a door , geared with a zoomed camera as he snapped away, capturing how the little girl intensely watched her show while nibbling on a fried chicken. This moment really is worth capturing because we rarely see our daughter as silent and as behaved as that. She usually would be tossing around toys while watching, or would drag us along to watch with her. But here, she is fine , she is okay, she doesn’t need anybody and she is chillin’ like a boss.
And I have to say that this was the first time  I see her hold a fried chicken like that. That led me to exclaim to myself, That isn’t a baby, that’s a toddler! When did all  that growing happened?
And lastly, one thing that always take my breath away.
You know, hearing those giggles so close to your ears, but the impact is strongest somewhere in your chest ( read: heart)
Here, no words needed.

So, that is life lately.
I hope you are all having a lovely week so far.
I will see you around!
