Hello friends! January again. The start of the year. I do hope you guys are all warm, safe, and healthy. As we navigate through these less than normal times, my wish is that we find simple joys, and see little things to be thankful for every day.
Blog Anniversary Coming Up. I published my first post 10 years ago this coming end of the month. I am thankful for this journey, and I am thankful for you! 10 years does not seem that long, and I cannot believe It is almost 10 years that his blog has been a part of my daily life.
The Resolve to be More Loving to Myself this Year. This year I want to be a bit kinder, a bit more gentle to myself. By that I mean, I will watch my worrisome thoughts and not dance away with them, not stress about anything I eat, and just in general, try to live with ease. Having three kids is something, so I try not to be too hard on myself, and accept the reality that sometimes I cannot do it all.
Loving Life as it Is. 2021 was indeed a year of change for us. We moved. We made big decisions. And now, the year is all behind us. Boy that was fast! After all of last year’s shenanigans, I know with certainty that this life is all a flow of perfection. The good, the bad and everything in between is all a part of a bigger good. So, with that, I am always reminded that it is so good to love life every step of the way.
More Recipes this Year. I hope. But then again, I am not too rigid on that since we have a big move this year. 2020 and 2021 were not a structured system for me, blogging-wise. Looking back, I don’t know how I managed, really. Haha! I miss my regular blogging but I will see to it that I will work in a way that is not too pushing of myself and not too rigid to the point of having burnout!
I love you guys. I appreciate the connection we have. Take care!
Ps. I’d love to hear from you! If you have any recipe requests, or if you want to say hello or share a photo of your creation, please send me a message or hit reply to my newsletters. I love hearing from you.
Happy New Year Sanna! I hope this year brings you whatever brings you peace, joy and contentment.
Thank you for your wonderful recipes, I’m sure your bread recipes are the best especially the ones I’ve already tried.
Like you, I think we all need to be kinder and gentler with ourselves (and one another) this year…the last couple of years have been unnecessarily unkind for so many, I hope only peace comes knocking for all of us this year.
Hi Leah! Thank you so much and Happy New Year to you. You are right. Now more than ever, is the best time to be more compassionate to oneself and to those around us. I sincerely wish that more grace, love and joy come to you abundantly this year, and to those around you. Take care!
