Things I Aspire To Do in 2015

Things I aspire to do in 2015
Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Year 2014 went by so fast and I have to admit that if you ask me during the late part of the year about what specific goals I have set and achieved for the past year, I would have answered you with a half opened mouth and wrinkled eyebrows.

In translation, that means, ” I am not sure”.

Well, 2014 was not a bad year. Challenging, yes.  But it is far from bad and in fact I would like to call it as the year when I have mastered so much strength and courage that I never knew  I had.

Looking back now, I realize there is only one thing about that past year that I would have done differently- and that is to set some small goals or aspirations that would allow me to breakaway from my comfort zone and try something new.

Well, I learned new things last year. My photography improved, my baking improved and my writing voice is established, But I think there is greater satisfaction and sense of fulfillment when I set these goals in the beginning and see the efforts I have exerted to them at the end of the year. I can assess myself better when my goals are established and written.  Well, I may not fulfill some of them , but having a list is a very powerful guide and it gives so much sense of direction and focus.

So for this year, I made a list.  At the very least, this will bring about sense of adventure and thrill so I highly encourage you to do the same!

1. Sew an outfit that I can wear. or at the very least, start to learn the art of sewing.

2. Learn how to write an e-book.

3. Learn a new dance from start to beginning.

4. Do yoga everyday, even for at least 5 minutes.

5. Upload a guitar video of myself on this blog.

6. Take a photo of my daughter ( at least) once a week and compile them at the end of the year.

7. Take Adrian to a surprise date.

Writing the list made me scared. Will I ever accomplish this? I am such a busy mom/ wife/blogger/employee blah blah blah!  But then , that is the whole point of it right? To challenge myself to do things that will make me break away.  Life is too short not to push ourselves to try new things.  Ahh, 2015! You are gonna be so much fun!

How about you? What is on your list?
