How is it the last Thursday of the month again? It does not seem that long since I wrote a Thursday Thought post and here we are again. But hey, look whose keeping at it for two months in a row!
This month I have a new video, I read a super awesome book and went on several camping trips.
A New Recipe Video- Pan de Siosa
I brought new softbox lights from Amazon for the purpose of making recipe videos in our basement. The basement is the best place in the house with enough space for me to set up video production. Unfortunately, it does not have the best lighting. Those new lights got tested in this video for Pan de Siosa. I hope you like it, and it is bound to get better, I promise.
Girl, Stop Apologizing from Rachel Hollis
I have shared this book on my IG story (wohoo! look who is finally using IG stories more and more!) and captioned it, This book is gold and it really is.
This book gave me a much-needed boost in every area of my personality that I struggle with. Confidence, for one. This book makes me write ten dreams, one goal and a gratitude list every morning.
It empowered me to visualize and plan for my goal for this blog. And most importantly, it is helping me to not be so mindful of other people’s opinion-which is a big thing for me for I tend to be a big people pleaser. I love this book, and I love Rachel!

Be In My Kid’s Photos
I take a thousand photos of food each month, yes. But I take a gazillion photos of my kids each month. I have read from someone, somewhere ( I believe it is from a fellow food blogger that I stalk maybe) that you need to not only take photos of your children, but you have to be in the photos with them. It does not matter if I am pale or my hair is crazy, I have to include myself in the pictures.
So I am now trying to show up in photos more and more, and also encouraging Adrian to do so. That way, my kids will have memories of us being present down the road. And they sure will not fail to leave a smile on our faces.
I believe that was bacon and eggs.
Thank you, everyone, for baking along with me this month! Keep tagging me in your creations on Instagram or use hashtag #womanscribbles. I always love to connect with you!
