New video, the start of the school year and the end of summer. Welcome to August’s Thursday Thoughts
Hello everyone. End of August!
I am so not ready for the summer to end, and so not ready for my daughter to go back to school. It always feels like the summertime is short, right? And always, always, on the days leading to the first day of school, there is this tug in my heart.
Have I spent enough quality time with her? Was I so busy working? Did we play enough? These questions come in the form of tiny waters on the sides of my eyes. Yes, call me cheesy.
Summer was fun, though. We had several camping trips and a few more to come. My two most favorites are the Minneapolis camping and the one at Clear Lake, Manitoba with the whole gang of our family.
Also, A New Recipe Video.
One of my most favorite recipes from the blog and one that is so close to my heart finally has a video. Guys, I am still honing my video skills. Done alone, it is one crazy, messy job but I enjoy it. Especially if there are kids “helping” around.
I will be working on several more, and hopefully, I can churn them out before the Holidays. I am excited for the baking season! The positive side of the colder weather is the cozy, indoor baking!
Yesterday, I did a couple of apples and cinnamon stuff recipe tests (both of which failed). But that does not stop us. I am excited for the recipes to come out for the next few weeks so be sure to keep posted.
Until then, I will see you next Thursday thoughts. Let’s chat again soon!
Such a beautiful family! Thank for sharing, Sanna
Thank you so much, JoAnn!
